Delivery of School Supplies

In 2022, Fundación Checo Pérez implemented an academic support program for more than 150 boys, girls and young people in Guadalajara. With this initiative we seek to bring education to low-income young people, guaranteeing a prosperous and successful return to school. 

Visual support

In May 2023 we started the #NiñosConVisión campaign which consists of the prevention and care of visual acuity problems for boys, girls and teenagers belonging to the Checo Pérez Foundation. This campaign consists of serving 9 shelters in Guadalajara, Jalisco, carrying out a general visual health check-up on each infant and subsequently serving those affected to provide them with free glasses and frames.

Cystic fibrosis

Checo Pérez Foundation, through the Mexican Association of Cystic Fibrosis A.C. (AMFQ), joins the project: “Treatment of pancreatic enzymes” with the sponsorship of two children from Guadalajara, Jalisco. 

Giving them their complete monthly treatment of multivitamins, pancreatic enzymes and a nebulizer indicated by their doctor. Multivitamins pancreatic enzymes  and a nebulizer prescribed by your doctor.

With this help we seek to reduce the malnutrition that the disease generates and cushion unexpected family medical expenses. 

Psychological support

create the proyect: CHECO PÉREZ FOUNDATION UNITED FOR MENTAL HEALTHWe created the project: CHECO PÉREZ FOUNDATION UNITED FOR MENTAL HEALTH. Which consists of providing psychological care and workshops to the girls of Casa Hogar Kamami A.C and Children and Adolescents in Armonía A.C.

These workshops are carried out by specialist psychologists so that they develop their potential to the maximum and thus improve their living conditions.  Likewise, they are provided with their own safe space for individual and group therapies depending on their needs.  This new project seeks to provide tools for their development to more and more young people in vulnerable situations.

Fundación Checo Pérez joins Fundación Espacio de Michelle by sponsoring low-income girls and boys with Down Syndrome with a monthly donation in which the beneficiaries will obtain therapies, tools and rehabilitation so that they can integrate into a regular school.

Checo Perez Foundation seeks to raise awareness and promote the social inclusion of this living condition, since many people mistakenly think that it is a disease for which they have limited capabilities.

In 2022, the Checo Perez Foundation implemented the delivery of in-kind donations to different homes in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

It was possible to consolidate a support network with Avicola Gdl by donating egg boxes, contributing to the health and growth of girls, boys and adolescents.

We create decent areas through the construction, remodeling, maintenance and/or expansion of homes or any other space in which boys and girls can develop in an integral way. With this program we also encourage children's sense of belonging to their home, giving them the opportunity to collaborate in the adaptation and care of their own spaces.

Our main objective with the implementation of Play Centers in Casas Hogar is to ensure that cognitive, psychomotor, affective-social development in the personality of children is favored through play through playful activities appropriate to each age, offering an attractive space to the kids.

In addition, with the computer equipment, children and adolescents can develop intellectually and creatively.

The support of Mexicans turned into smiles and hope for 34 families in the community in the southeast of the state of Oaxaca.

Events

Throughout the year, the Checo Pérez Foundation carries out Throughout the year Checo Pérez foundation holds two massive events: Children's Day Party and Posada Navideña.  

More than 300 boys, girls and adolescents from different foster homes come together, with whom we collaborate throughout the current year.

They celebrate their special day full of joy, surprises and lots of fun.
